The academic journal is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, open-access publication, proudly published by Nexting, based in Ohio, USA. It is released on a bimonthly schedule, providing a platform for innovative design and research.
The journal highlights innovative research across a wide range of design disciplines, including user experience design, product design, industrial design, interior design, architectural design, visual communication, interface design, animation, motion design, media design, print design, and other related fields.
The journal operates under a Gold Open Access model, ensuring that all content is freely accessible to readers worldwide immediately upon publication. To support this open-access publishing, authors (or their institutions) are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) after their article is accepted.
We prioritize the quality of published articles. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process, where 2-3 external experts evaluate the manuscript. Based on their recommendations, articles may be:
- Accepted.
- Accepted with minor revisions.
- Conditionally accepted, requiring significant revisions and resubmission.
- Rejected.
For revised submissions, the same reviewers assess the updated manuscript to ensure quality standards are met.
The Editor-in-Chief retains the right to reject any article, whether solicited or unsolicited, and may suggest revisions before publication. Authors of accepted articles will receive proofs to correct printing errors, which must be returned within 14 calendar days. The publisher is not responsible for errors resulting from the authors’ oversights.
